Students will attend their normal timetable for Periods 1, 2 & Form. At the start of morning tea all Year 9 & 10 students and those who signed up will get changed and meet on the field behind the Library at their house flag at 11:30am. Students will get their names marked off the roll. Each house will walk up with their Deans, prefects and teachers. Student helpers will also walk up with their house group.
Students are to make sure they have wet weather clothing in case of rain or to sit on if the ground is wet.
The distance of the course for the Juniors is approximately 2.6km and the Intermediate and Senior course distance is approximately 3.5km.
Race times:
Students are encouraged to wear their house colours and support others when they are not racing. The start and finish of the races has sections to spectate and cheer and this is encouraged.
At the completion of the event, students will be released from Churchill Park unless they have buses to catch back at school. Staff will be walking back with students who need to return to school.
